which is part of school of Mechanical Engineering, so indicate your division as ME.

The Runners' Relay 2011
This event features a 7 leg relay race around Ngee Ann Polytechnic's campus ground. All runners will run a distance of 1.1km. The baton exchange-zone will be situated at the car park of LT 26.
Venue: Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Carpark at LT 26
Date of Event: 29 July 2011, Friday
Collection of Number Tags: 27th & 28th of July 2011, between 12pm-5pm - SDAR Office, Blk 18, #02-01
Event Schedule:
5.30 pm- Reporting time
5.45 pm- Race briefing
6.00 pm- Flag-Off
7.30 pm- Prize Presentation & Closing
Prizes: Medals will be given to top 7 positions in each category.
Team Composition / Categories
There must be 7 runners in each team and a team captain must be appointed.
1. NP School/Division (Student)
a. ( 3 Female & 4 Male Runners )
Female Runners are to run the 2nd, 4th & 6th leg of the relay
2. NP Staff
All 7 Runners must be from the same School/Division/Department.
The 2nd leg must be completed by Principal / Deputy Principal / Senior Director / Director / Deputy Director (Management team) / Principal Lecturer / Senior Lecturer /Senior Manager/ or any staff above the age of 45 years.

The 6th leg of the relay must be completed by a female competitor unless the 2nd leg is a female runner.

Rules & Regulations
· All entries are to be completed on official registration forms. Incomplete forms will not be entertained.
· All entries are to be taken on first-come-first-served basis
· Late entries and late comers will not be entertained.
· Participants are required to report for their respective categories with their NIRC/Student Pass/ ID Cards to collect their number tags during the designated timings.
· Participants aged 35 and above are advised to seek medical certification to ensure that they are fit for the competition.
· Participants are allowed to take part in 1 category only.
· All runners are to be properly attired (i.e. running shorts, singlet/t-shirt, and running shoes).
· All decisions made by various judges and race director will be final. Appeals would not be entertained.
· Teams who fail to comply with the above Rules & Regulations will be disqualified.
· In an event of foul weather, the organizing committee reserves the rights to delay the commencement of the race up to an hour. Should the weather persist after the delay, the organizing committee reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event.
· Ngee Ann Polytechnic, the Organizing Committee, appointed staff & officials would not be held responsible for the cancellation of the event due to any unforeseen circumstances.
· Ngee ann Polytechnic, the organizing committee, appointed staff & officials would under no circumstances accept liability resulting from injury, whether fatal or otherwise of any participants or from damage to or loss of such person’s property while participating in the event.
· The organizers reserves the right to amend the Rules & Regulations without prior announcements.
